The beds and linens where super comfortable and the hotel lobby and business center where also functional and inviting. The evening nosh at the hotel bar/restaurant was delicious and not a bad value at $12. The pool and hot tub area was also very nice, clean and well maintained. The hotel location was nice and spacious, with plenty of parking. The area itself was guiet and you didn't have to contend with highway noise.

The buffe breakfast was a bit pricey but a nice treat with lots of items to choose from. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room itself was nice, but upon entering the room we read a letter that stated that this hotel (amoung others in the region) had problems with "stink bugs". The letter also showed us an enlarged picture of one of these critters. Later that same evening, I found a bug on the air-conditioning unit in our room. I was a little bit grossed out and captured the creature under a glass tumbler (hotel item). I was a bit un-nerved and was super careful when walking around the room during the night.

The attitude of the staff was spot on. Helpful and professional from the attentive bar staff at TJs through the check in desk people and their free cookies to Renee and her excellent housekeeping team who found and returned my lost property. The Christmas tree was nice too.

The walls were paper thin so I heard someone's dog yapping on one side and the man on the other side started yapping on his cell phone at 7am on a Saturday morning. Not much you can do about that, I suppose.

The Doubletree By Hilton offers a comfortable and clean environment. I found their business center to be useful for my work needs. The staff was responsive and helped facilitate my meetings efficiently.

Some amenities could use improvement.

My room was spacious and so very clean...had a great feel to it, with a wonderful view of the Blue Ridge Mts The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept upon. I would definitley recommend it to anyone and would stay there again.....and yes, they actually had a warm chocolate chip cookie waiting for me!

There was a huge worm in my bed. We just took a 14h flight to here. This is a very unpleasant experience.

The room was generally clean, but the shower was a disaster. It had mold and even a hole in the ceiling. Seriously disgusting. Plus, I wasn't thrilled about the lack of any Diamond perks despite being a loyal member. Just disappointing all around.

We found several bugs in our room over the few days we were there, including a large spider (4" in size). There was no refrigerator in our room, though we thought there would be, and there were fridges in other rooms...

The stay was a mixed bag. The location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions, and the restaurant offered good food. The bathroom was cramped and needed some work, which detracted from my overall experience. Megan, the bartender, was a standout, providing attentive service and great recommendations.

The modern decor and spacious dining areas offered beautiful views and a comfortable atmosphere. I especially appreciated the reasonable room rate for such quality.

Unfortunately, I encountered inconsistent housekeeping and a breakfast that was overpriced for its quality. This soured an otherwise pleasant stay.

How clean the rooms and bathrooms were. It wS a nice comfortable stay.

There wasn't a refrigerator or microwave, so some good went to waste.

Front Desk Staff was wonderful and stayed busy. I was extremely tired and needed sleep. They found a room (double) for me to use @ 1;30 pm. Grateful. I was too tired to even bring in my suitcase - just slept. High quality staff - poor quality maintenance.

Elevators did not work - customers were forced to use freight elevator. Air could not be adjusted in Room 531 - shut entire unit off to sleep. View was of tar rooftops - not woods as I requested (hoped for) in beautiful setting. I was charged $175.00 for a room I booked on line for a special of $128.00 (plus tax). Why? No receipt was given.

The king room with a sofa bed was spacious and reasonably comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted us politely upon our arrival.

The evacuation during an emergency highlighted the lack of leadership.
